Reporting Stranger - Festival reports on the festival, the visitors and the city of Amsterdam / by AT5

With the guidance of professional TV makers from Amsterdam´s local television channel AT5, you get to make reports from the festival which will be shown on television the same evening. The International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) is the largest documentary festival in the world. IDFA organises the Plug-in session to give stage and exposure to young film talents.

Saturday 16 May the pre-selection jury for the StrangerAward and the MTV StrangerAward choose the longlist of finalists! 20 Students from arts and new media schools got together at Imagine/IC and spent more than 10 hours selecting around 60 videos. This selection is now viewed by Strangers honoured Judges.

For the StrangerAward 2008 the judge is Nirit Peled (www.mamamess.com).

For the MTV StrangerAward the judges are MTV's Taco Zuidema (senior creative) and Dylan Griffith (head of creative and design).
